Activities

Small Group Discussions
Online: Practice cultural and intellectual humility in listening to one another respond to the NPR podcast Throughline in groups of 3-5 people. We are currently offering this opportunity on Mondays at 9pm by Zoom or Wednesdays at 9am and 1pm by Zoom or Skype(EST). Peace Volunteers join as Intercultural Learners and Facilitators when they can from wherever they can.
In Atlanta (except from June 11-August 6): Peace Volunteers come when they can to the Intown Coffeehouse at 11am and gather in small interreligious learning groups for one hour and fifteen minutes of practicing cultural humility in listening while exploring the different religious perspectives and beliefs of one another in response to short readings from the Bible. Peace Volunteers from different religious cultures help one another learn from their stories and bring scriptural and other references from their respective religious cultures and traditions.
